Dennett Pro Series 2 Hook Wire Boom Rig

Overview

The Dennett Pro Series 2 Hook Wire Boom Rig is a ready-tied sea fishing rig featuring two Size 2 hooks presented on wire booms. It carries the manufacturer code TS-PRO1502 and is classified by Dennett under its Pro Series range, although some retailers list it under the alternative name "Saltwater Pro".

The rig is built with a 60lb main line and 20lb hook lengths, giving anglers a practical two-hook setup. It arrives supplied completely pre-tied, making it a convenient option for anglers who want a traditional two-hook wire-boom rig without the hassle of tying it themselves.

Perfect For

With its two Size 2 hooks and two-bait presentation, this rig is suited to general sea fishing where a simple, ready-made two-hook setup is wanted. The wire-boom configuration keeps the hook snoods separated from the main rig body, supporting a clean two-bait presentation on the day.

Anglers who prefer a grab-and-go rig rather than tying their own wire-boom setups will find this a straightforward choice for general sea fishing sessions.

Technical Insight

The two wire booms hold each hook snood away from the main rig body, physically separating the two hook lengths from one another. This separation is a practical feature of the wire-boom design, helping to keep the two baited snoods apart during use.

Constructed with a 60lb main line and 20lb hook lengths, the rig balances a robust main line against lighter hook lengths, a common approach for a general-purpose ready-made two-hook sea rig.
