Akios EVA Rucksack Organiser

Overview

The AKIOS EVA Rucksack Organiser is a modular tackle-storage unit built specifically to sit in the base of the AKIOS EVA Rucksack. Rather than a single empty zipped box, it's supplied with two removable internal EVA organiser pods, giving three levels of organised storage in total.

Constructed from tough EVA, it has a semi-rigid structure rather than behaving like a conventional soft fabric tackle bag. This resists moisture, helps the unit maintain its shape when loaded into a rucksack, and makes it straightforward to wipe clean after a session on the water.

Welded seams improve durability and help prevent water leaking through in the way conventional stitched seams can, while a transparent lid lets you see which pod holds the tackle you need without opening multiple bags. It's worth noting this is water-resistant EVA construction rather than a fully waterproof or submersible product.

This organiser is particularly useful for sea anglers who want to keep rigs, leads, spare traces, hook packets, swivels, clips, beads, bait elastic, scissors, forceps and other terminal tackle separated rather than piled loose at the bottom of a rucksack.

The semi-rigid EVA construction is especially handy for heavier terminal tackle, stopping everything collapsing into one pile during transport. It's designed for both shore and boat fishing, and forms part of AKIOS's wider modular EVA luggage system, so it stacks neatly alongside other AKIOS EVA organisers inside larger luggage.

Technical Insight

The two included internal organiser pods allow an angler to physically separate tackle types—one pod for rig components, another for leads or tools, with remaining space for larger accessories—rather than relying on a single undivided compartment.

The combination of a heavy-duty zip closure, a strong carry handle and welded seams means the whole unit can be lifted in and out of the rucksack as a single, secure package. Being stackable and wipe-clean, it's designed to work as part of a broader EVA storage system rather than as a standalone bag.
