Saltwater Pro Lead Fish Lure – 28g

Overview

The Saltwater Pro Lead Fish Lure – 28g is a compact metal sea lure built for saltwater spinning and casting. It features a fish-shaped profile finished with a reflective silver holographic coating, giving it plenty of flash as it moves through the water.

Each lure in the Saltwater Pro range is fitted with a treble hook and supplied individually, ready to tie straight onto your line. The 28g weight strikes a practical balance between enough casting weight for shore work and a compact baitfish silhouette that doesn't look out of place among natural prey species.

Perfect For

This 28g Lead Fish lure is well suited to shore casting and spinning from beaches, rocks, piers and other UK sea marks, where its weight helps anglers get the lure out into the water column. Its metal construction also means it can be worked effectively from a boat, giving anglers flexibility between shore and boat sessions.

Anglers searching for a simple, affordable metal lure for UK saltwater lure fishing will find the Lead Fish a straightforward option to add to the box, whether targeting species that respond to a flashing baitfish-style retrieve from the shore or from afloat.

Technical Insight

The holographic finish is the lure's standout feature, reflecting light to mimic the flash of a fleeing baitfish and help trigger predatory strikes. Combined with the treble hook fitted as standard, the lure is set up ready to fish straight from the packet.

The 28g weight is specifically chosen to give shore anglers enough casting distance while keeping the lure's profile compact, rather than being marketed on a specific manufacturer casting-distance claim. Three colour patterns – Black/Silver Holo, Blue/Silver Holo and Green/Silver Holo – share the same reflective silver holographic body, letting anglers vary the back colour to suit conditions while keeping the same flash-triggering presentation.
