Arno-Hooks Rig Springs are 316 stainless-steel tension springs designed for anglers who tie their own clipped-down sea-fishing rigs. Fitted between the crimp and snood swivel, each spring maintains steady tension on the hook snood so it stays correctly clipped down throughout the cast. Made from corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel, they're built to cope with repeated exposure to saltwater.

Rather than relying solely on a length of stretch-prone monofilament, the spring introduces a small amount of controlled movement into the rig assembly. This allows the connection to absorb the sudden acceleration of a powerful cast without the snood stretching enough to release the hook early.
