Overview

The INOVA Taper-Tech Tapered Shock Leaders are a tapered shock leader developed by INOVA to achieve longer casts with extraordinary abrasion resistance. Each spool contains 5 separate leaders, each 15m long, giving 75m of total tapered material divided into five ready-to-use sections.

Rather than being level throughout, each leader begins with a relatively fine 15lb end that ties to the reel's mainline, then progressively increases in diameter until reaching a heavy casting section — available in 15-50lb, 15-60lb or 15-70lb versions (product codes 200114, 200115 and 200116 respectively).

INOVA identifies Taper-Tech specifically as line/shock leader in clear colour, and it's marketed purely as a casting leader rather than a mainline or rig-body product — INOVA produces a separate 220m Taper-Tech Main-Line and a separate Body Shock leader for rig-body use.
