Overview

The Sakuma Shock Leader 100m is a straight-through co-polymer shock leader built for serious sea anglers. Made in Japan, it combines a soft, supple handling feel with genuine high strength and a relatively low diameter for its breaking strain. This is the standard straight leader — not Supashock and not the pre-cut tapered version — designed to lay neatly on the reel spool and avoid the kinking that spoils knot strength.

It's supplied on a generous 100m spool, giving anglers plenty of leader material rather than just a handful of casts' worth. The range covers 50lb, 60lb, 70lb and 80lb breaking strains, with diameters from 0.620mm up to 0.780mm, and is available in Clear, Yellow, Red and Grey so you can match it to personal preference or visibility needs.
