Overview

Avis Swivel Booms are rotating nylon paternoster booms built for constructing anti-tangle multi-hook sea-fishing rigs, supplied five to a pack. Each boom slides directly onto the rig body and is held in place using stops fitted either side, allowing the position to be fixed or made adjustable depending on the stops used. Measuring 2.75 inches (approximately 7cm) in length, the strong nylon construction keeps the boom light and slim compared with bulkier boom alternatives.

Finished in a white/translucent nylon, the booms remain free to rotate around the rig body. This rotating action is what gives the "swivel" part of the name, even though it isn't a conventional barrel swivel - the boom itself provides the swivel-like movement as it turns on the trace.
