Overview

Gemini Genie Glow in the Dark PVC Rig Tubing is a luminous PVC tubing designed for sea-fishing rig building, supplied in a 1-metre length with a 1.5mm internal diameter. It features a strong green glow rather than being simply brightly coloured, making it a genuinely luminous material that charges under light.

This is Gemini's Glow in the Dark PVC product, distinct from the brand's separate range of 1mm, 1.5mm and 2mm silicone tubing, its standard PVC rig tubing, and its neoprene tubing. It can glow for approximately 30 minutes after being charged with light, according to Angling Active, though actual visible glow will depend on how strongly it has been charged and ambient light conditions.

Supplied as one metre of continuous tubing, it doesn't need to be used in a single length. Anglers can cut short sections for stand-offs, visual attractors, component sleeves, grip-wire sleeves and other custom rig-building applications, meaning one pack can serve numerous rigs.

Perfect For

This tubing is particularly suited to creating snood stand-offs, positioned at the snood connection to help the hooklength project away from the main rig body. This can be useful on flapper rigs, scratching rigs, match rigs and multi-hook rigs, where keeping the snood away from the main rig body can help reduce tangles.

It's also useful for night fishing, helping anglers locate terminal tackle during dark winter sessions when baiting up, changing rigs, recovering tackle on the beach, or simply trying to see the terminal end of a rig in low light.
