Overview

The PENN Fierce IV is a saltwater spinning reel built around a Full Metal Body and sideplates, giving the drivetrain a rigid, flex-resistant foundation when working under load.

At its core sits PENN's HT-100 carbon-fibre drag system, a Techno-Balanced rotor designed for smooth retrieves, and four sealed stainless-steel ball bearings that add extra protection against saltwater contamination. An Instant Anti-Reverse bearing delivers immediate hook-set response, while the Superline Spool is purpose-built for modern braided lines, and the handle can be swapped for right- or left-hand retrieve.

The range spans eight sizes, from the ultralight 1000 through to the powerful 8000, with maximum drag climbing from 4.0kg/9lb on the smallest model to 13.6kg/30lb on the largest, giving anglers a Fierce IV to suit almost any saltwater spinning application.
