Overview

The PENN Tidal XT Beach Caster 420 is a three-piece surfcasting rod developed for shore anglers who want casting power alongside responsive carbon construction.

Built from a combination of 36T and 40T high-modulus carbon, the Tidal XT features a slim blank reinforced with PENN's Carbon X-Wrap technology. This reinforcement is designed to reduce blank twisting during casting, improving stability, control and casting accuracy under load.

The rod is fitted with saltwater-resistant Fuji Deep Pressed guides with Alconite inserts, and unlike specialist lowrider rod configurations, the Tidal XT Beach Caster is built to accommodate both fixed-spool and conventional multiplier reel setups.
