Technical Insight

As rolling swivels, these components provide a rotating connection between sections of a rig, allowing tackle on either side to turn independently. This is important in sea fishing because baits, snoods and terminal tackle can rotate in tidal flow, waves, currents and during retrieval, and the swivel helps stop that rotation transferring excessive twist into the main rig body or line.

The 100% marine-grade stainless-steel construction is the key engineering advantage over traditional brass or nickel swivels, delivering considerably more strength for a given physical size.
