anyfish anywhere 15’ Six&Bait mk2 multiplier

Overview

The Anyfish Anywhere Six&Bait MK2 15ft Multiplier is a two-piece carbon beachcaster built specifically for anglers wanting the benefits of extra length without the soft action of a continental surf rod. Sold under supplier code AN-6B15M, it's rated to cast 150–175g and carries a published weight of 820g.

Rather than a soft continental-style blank, this rod is positioned as a traditional British beachcaster with additional length. Retailer information confirms this 15ft model has a progressive, parabolic feel through the butt and mid-section, meaning it responds best to a smooth pulling and punching cast rather than an aggressive hit.

The AN-6B15M version is configured specifically for multiplier reels and uses the manufacturer's current Fuji BCMNOG guide specification, fitted via a sliding reel seat that allows the reel to be mounted reel-up or reel-down to suit the angler's preference.

Perfect For

This rod is designed as a versatile UK shore rod rather than a one-trick tool. Published examples include a Pennell rig with crab and mussel for cod fishing from rocks, and a three-hook clipped rig for whiting and dabs from the open beach.

It's suited to fishing across clean ground through to rough or mixed ground, with the 15ft length specifically promoted for anglers chasing extra casting distance or needing more rod length to help control line and fish over difficult terrain. It is not intended as a dedicated heavy 8oz short-range rod, so anglers regularly punching heavier leads at close range may be better served by a shorter, punchier beachcaster.

Technical Insight

The progressive loading character of the 15ft blank comes from its parabolic feel through the butt and middle section, meaning power builds smoothly through the cast rather than requiring a sharp, aggressive strike. This makes it well suited to anglers who prefer a controlled pulling or punching casting technique.

The sliding reel fitting gives genuine flexibility in reel positioning, allowing multiplier users to fish reel-up or reel-down without being forced into one casting style. Combined with the Fuji BCMNOG guide specification designed for multiplier line management, the rod is built to handle substantial baited rigs, with approximately 6oz plus bait representing its typical practical working load.
