anyfish anywhere 14’ Six&Bait mk2 multiplier

Overview

The Anyfish Anywhere Six&Bait MK2 14ft Multiplier is a two-piece beachcaster from the Blue Series range, built for anglers who want one rod capable of covering a broad range of UK shore-fishing situations. Supplied under code AN-6B14M, this is the dedicated multiplier version of the Six&Bait MK2, distinct from the fixed-spool AN-6B14FS.

Measuring 14ft (approx. 4.27m) and built in 2 equal sections, the rod carries an official casting rating of 150–175g and a published weight of 820g. The carbon blank is matched with a Diamond/X-wrap shrink finish handle for grip and comfort during long sessions.

The MK2 blank was developed to be slimmer and lighter than the original Six&Bait, with a parabolic-powered butt flowing into a powerful mid-section so the rod loads progressively through the cast, while the tip remains stiff enough to deal with tidal flow but still gives useful bite indication.

Perfect For

This multiplier beachcaster is designed around handling substantial baited shore rigs, with retailer guidance describing 6oz plus bait as a key working load. It's best thought of as a general-purpose 14ft multiplier beachcaster rather than a specialised clean-ground match rod or dedicated heavy rough-ground tool.

Published UK applications include Pennell rigs baited with crab or mussel for cod, three-hook clipped rigs for whiting and dabs, summer smoothhound fishing, and general beach and mixed-ground work on stronger tidal venues.

Technical Insight

The multiplier-specific Fuji BCMNOG guide set is matched to this configuration, keeping line management suited to multiplier casting rather than the BCMSVOG guides used on the fixed-spool version.

A sliding, adjustable screw winch reel fitting lets anglers position the multiplier reel-up or reel-down the butt according to personal casting preference, adding genuine versatility for different fishing styles on the beach.
